Saturday Morning RPG On The Switch

Saturday Morning RPG is a turn based role playing game with a call back to 1980’s nostalgia.  The game has a ton of references form classics, such as Back to the Future, Transformers, GI Joe and many more.  The graphics are in an 8-bit style, so it’s a perfect fit for game’s setting.  The bottom line is that Saturday Morning RPG is a fun ride that’s a bit of a challenge.  Oh, and I didn’t mean to make a pun there.  Haha, bit.

As most of you know by now, Saturday Morning RPG is making its way to The Nintendo Switch later this year.  This was the game that put Limited Run on the map, but before it’s initial physical release Mighty Rabbit Studio was having a hard time selling the game on digital platforms.  So, in a last ditch effort they decided release Saturday Morning RPG and Bleach & Clear with a limited run of physical discs.   As we all know it was a hit!   That being said, Saturday Morning RPG was Limited Run’s second release, so many collectors who joined the hobby after that point may be missing it from their collections.  After asking around it looks like many of those who already own the game on PS4 or Vita won’t be buying the game again on The Switch.  On the other hand, this is a great opportunity for those who missed out on the PS4 and Vita versions.  As far as those who are buying the Switch version, many of them missed out on this physical release the first time around.  And, others say that they just want a complete LRG Switch collection.  What ever you’re reason for buying it or not, the one thing I can say is that this game will sell out quick.

Will you be picking up Saturday Morning RPG on The Switch?
